Dr. Hannah Hanks
Physical Therapist
PT, DPT, Cert. DN
(she/her)
Dr. Hannah strives to help each person feel empowered to take an active role in their healing journey.
She believes in providing holistic care to help patients reach their unique goals from multiple angles. To that end, she seeks out and shares knowledge with her patients that can help them take charge of their healing. Dr. Hannah finds great joy in seeing her patients improve, meet goals, and ultimately graduate when they no longer need physical therapy.
Dr. Hannah strives to provide a safe and open environment where patients can discuss even the most sensitive of concerns without embarrassment. She specializes in pelvic floor therapy for all genders, though she enjoys treating patients with a variety of symptoms — not just pelvic health conditions!
To discover new ways to help her patients, Dr. Hannah enjoys continuing her physical therapy education. She has extensive training in pelvic floor physical therapy through Herman & Wallace courses. She is also trained in dry needling through the American Academy of Manipulative Therapy (AAMT) to treat her patients for a variety of musculoskeletal conditions.
Dr. Hannah earned her doctorate in physical therapy from the University of Utah, where she also completed her undergraduate studies. She has specialized in pelvic health physical therapy in the Treasure Valley since 2022. Her work as a physical therapist is influenced by her lifelong background in dance; prior to becoming a physical therapist, Dr. Hannah taught ballet.
In the summer, you'll find Dr. Hannah paddleboarding, and she spends the winter months skiing at every opportunity. She enjoys spending time with family. Dr. Hannah also loves to crochet, read, and curl up on the couch to watch movies with her golden retriever.
